Overview

Memex Team Management allows you to create and manage teams with shared credit pools, centralized billing, and privacy controls. Teams are perfect for organizations, development groups, or any collaborative projects that benefit from shared resources and unified management.

Team management features are available to Scale Plan subscribers only.

Setting Up Your Team

Creating a Team

  1. Upgrade to Scale Plan: Team features are available on the Scale plan

  2. Initialize Team Settings: Configure your team name and initial settings

  3. Set Credit Limits: Define individual credit limits for team members

  4. Configure Privacy Settings: Enforce privacy mode for all team members if required

Inviting Team Members

Send Invitations:

  1. Go to your team management dashboard

  2. Click "Invite Team Member"

  3. Enter the email address of the person you want to invite

  4. Set their individual credit limit (optional)

  5. Send the invitation

Invitation Process:

  • Invited users receive an email with instructions to join

  • They can accept the invitation through the provided link

  • New team members automatically inherit team privacy settings

  • Credit limits are applied immediately upon joining

Member Roles:

  • Team Owner: Full administrative control, billing management, member oversight

  • Team Member: Access to shared credits, subject to team policies and individual limits

Member Management:

  • Update Member Settings: Adjust individual credit limits and permissions

How Team Credits Work

Shared Credit Pool:

  • All team members draw from a common pool of credits

  • Team owner's subscription determines the total available credits

  • Individual members can have personal credit limits within the team pool

Credit Allocation:

  • Team owners set individual credit limits for each member

  • Members cannot exceed their individual limits even if team credits remain

  • Total team usage cannot exceed the team's credit allocation

  • Credit Pack bonuses (10% extra) apply to team purchases

Team-Level Limits:

  • Based on the team owner's Scale plan subscription

  • Enhanced with Credit Pack purchases at preferential rates

Individual Member Limits:
