How do I share a conversation?

You can easily share your conversations, privately with friends or with the Memex team for support.

Whether you've gained valuable insights on a topic or developed a cool concept, Conversation Sharing allows you to showcase your ideas in a beautifully rendered format, ensuring that others can experience the conversation just as you did.

Private sharing lets you share your conversation via a unique link.

1. Find your conversation in the conversation list

2. Click the three dots (⋯) next to the conversation name

3. Select "Share" from the menu

4. Choose sharing option:

   • Private sharing: Creates a unique link for selected recipients

5. Copy the link and share it with your intended audience

Best Practices for Sharing

Before You Share

Review the conversation carefully:

• Remove or redact any sensitive information

• Check for accidentally included secrets or credentials

• Ensure the conversation represents your intended message

• Verify that all referenced files or data are appropriate to share

Consider your audience:

• Will the technical level match the intended readers?

• Are there assumptions that need additional context?

• Would someone unfamiliar with your project understand the goals?

Test the shared link:

• Open the link in a private/incognito browser window

• Verify the conversation displays correctly

• Check that all important context is included

• Ensure media and code examples are visible
